伏見稲荷大社 – Fushimi Inari Taisha

A snapshot realized in October 2019, during my trip to Japan.

Fushimi Inari is the main shrine dedicated to kami Inari, located in Fushimi-ku, Kyōto. The sanctuary lies at the foot of the “Inari”mountain, which stands 233 meters above sea level and has several paths leading to other smaller sanctuaries. Since the most ancient of times in Japan, Inari has always been seen as the patron of business, as both traders and craftsmen traditionally worship Inari.
